Power measurement in the millimeter-wave and sub-terahertz bands has traditionally meant expensive, slow thermal power meters. The "Tri-Band mm-Wave Power Meter" we are developing carries three waveguide ports — WR-10, WR-6, and WR-3 — in a single unit, covering 75 GHz to 330 GHz with one instrument, with a cost-conscious design (currently at the proof-of-concept stage). Fast diode-detection measurement lowers the barrier to entry for millimeter-wave and sub-terahertz testing.
WR-10, WR-6, and WR-3 are fixed in one unit; band switching is simply a matter of port selection. Operate it stand-alone via the color LCD and rotary encoder, or from the PC app (real-time graphing, CSV logging, automated control). Custom waveguides and antenna-fitted variants are available on request.
| Waveguide ports | WR-10 (75–110 GHz) / WR-6 (110–170 GHz) / WR-3 (220–330 GHz) |
